The AI Systems Guy

tl;dr

Track partner performance automatically and share reports that drive accountability.

Partnerships without accountability decay. Automated partner performance reports create visibility into how each partnership performs so both sides know where they stand.

Data drives the conversation. Not opinions.

What to Track

Referrals sent and received. Revenue generated from each partner relationship. Lead quality (conversion rate of partner-referred leads). Response times to referrals. Customer satisfaction from partner-sourced business.

Track these metrics per partner, per month. The trend matters more than any single month.

The Report Structure

Section 1: Summary scorecard. Total referrals, total revenue, conversion rate. Green/yellow/red status.

Section 2: Activity detail. Each referral listed with its current status and outcome.

Section 3: Trend analysis. Is the partnership growing, stable, or declining? AI reads the 3-month trend and makes the call.

Section 4: Recommendations. Based on the data, what should both parties do? More referrals needed? Better lead qualification? Different communication cadence?

Automating the Pipeline

Data comes from your CRM. Each partner has a tag or source field. A script queries all partner-tagged records, calculates the metrics, and feeds them to AI for the narrative sections.

The report generates monthly and lands in the partner's inbox (after your review). Both sides see the same numbers.

The Accountability Effect

When partners know a report is coming every month, behavior changes. Referrals increase because they are being tracked. Quality improves because conversion rates are visible. Response times decrease because delays are documented.

The report itself does not force accountability. Visibility does. People perform better when performance is measured and shared.

Handling Underperformance

When the data shows a partnership is not delivering value, the report makes the conversation easier. "Looking at the last 3 months, referral volume has dropped 60% and none of the last 5 referrals converted. What has changed?"

That is a data-driven conversation, not an emotional one. The report provides the evidence. You provide the human judgment about what to do next.
