Prompt: Generate FAQ Answers
Jay Banlasan
The AI Systems Guy
tl;dr
Create comprehensive FAQ sections with answers that actually address what customers are really asking.
Most FAQ pages are useless. They answer questions nobody asked and ignore the questions everyone has. The result is a page that exists for SEO and serves no actual customer.
This prompt generates FAQ answers that address real objections and reduce support tickets. Use it to prompt generate faq answers ai drafts that your team would actually want to publish.
The Prompt
Create an FAQ section for [PRODUCT/SERVICE/PAGE].
BUSINESS CONTEXT: [What you sell, who you sell it to]
COMMON OBJECTIONS: [List the top 3-5 reasons people hesitate to buy]
SUPPORT TICKET THEMES: [What do customers ask your support team most often?]
COMPETITOR COMPARISON: [What do prospects compare you against?]
Generate 15 FAQ entries organized into these categories:
1. BEFORE PURCHASE (questions prospects ask before buying)
2. GETTING STARTED (questions new customers ask in week one)
3. TROUBLESHOOTING (common problems and solutions)
4. PRICING AND BILLING (money questions people are afraid to ask)
5. COMPARISON (how you differ from alternatives without bashing competitors)
For each FAQ entry:
- Question: Written in the customer's actual voice (not corporate speak)
- Answer: 2-4 sentences max. Lead with the direct answer, then explain if needed.
- Hidden objection: What the customer is really worried about underneath this question.
Rules:
- Questions should sound like a real person asking, not a lawyer drafting
- Answers must be direct. No "Great question!" openers.
- If the honest answer is "no" or "we do not offer that," say so clearly
- Include at least 2 questions about pricing. People always want to know about money.
- Every answer should reduce anxiety, not create it
Why the Hidden Objection Matters
When someone asks "how long is the contract," they are really asking "can I leave if this does not work?" When someone asks "do you integrate with Salesforce," they are really asking "how hard is this going to be to set up?"
Identifying the hidden objection lets you answer both the surface question and the real concern. That is what turns an FAQ page from a dead asset into a conversion tool.
Turning This Into a Living Document
After generating, have your support team review it. They will catch questions that are missing and flag answers that need nuance. Update it monthly based on actual support ticket themes.
The best FAQ pages are not written once. They grow with your customers' real questions.
The SEO Bonus
FAQ pages rank well when the questions match what people actually search. "How much does [service] cost" and "Is [product] worth it" are high-intent searches. Answer them honestly and you capture traffic that is ready to buy.
