The AI Systems Guy

tl;dr

A full marketing plan from target audience to channels to budget to timeline. One prompt.

This prompt complete marketing plan generates a structured plan you can execute immediately. Not a strategy document that sits in a drawer. A plan with channels, budgets, timelines, and metrics.

The Prompt

You are a marketing strategist. Create a complete marketing plan for the next 90 days.

Business: [what you sell]
Monthly marketing budget: [amount]
Current revenue: [monthly]
Revenue goal for next 90 days: [target]
Current marketing channels: [what you already do]
Target customer: [detailed description including where they spend time online]
Biggest marketing challenge: [what is not working or what you have not tried]
Team capacity: [who does the marketing work, e.g., just me, me + one VA, small team]

Build the marketing plan:

1. TARGET AUDIENCE SUMMARY:
- Primary persona (one paragraph)
- Where they consume content
- What motivates them to buy
- What makes them hesitate

2. CHANNEL STRATEGY (for each channel):
- Why this channel for this audience
- Content type and frequency
- Budget allocation (percentage and dollar amount)
- Expected results (realistic, not optimistic)
- KPIs to track

3. CONTENT CALENDAR (weeks 1-12):
- Weekly themes or focuses
- Specific content pieces to create each week
- Distribution schedule

4. PAID ADVERTISING PLAN:
- Platforms and budget split
- Campaign structure
- Targeting approach
- Creative brief for initial ads
- Testing plan for first 30 days

5. CONVERSION PATH:
- How traffic becomes leads
- How leads become customers
- What assets are needed (landing pages, lead magnets, email sequences)

6. METRICS AND MILESTONES:
- Week 4 checkpoint: what should we see?
- Week 8 checkpoint: what should we see?
- Week 12 checkpoint: what should we see?
- When to pivot vs when to stay the course

7. BUDGET BREAKDOWN:
- Monthly allocation by channel
- Expected CAC by channel
- Break-even analysis

Be realistic about what is achievable with my stated budget and team capacity. Do not suggest a plan that requires a team of 10 when I said I am doing this alone.

The Budget Reality Check

Section 7 is where plans get honest. If your budget does not support your revenue goal through any reasonable channel combination, the AI should tell you that. Better to know now than to fail in 90 days.

Execution Is Everything

A perfect plan executed at 60% beats a mediocre plan executed at 100%. Focus on consistency over perfection. The calendar keeps you accountable.
