Prompt: Generate Webinar Topics and Outlines
Jay Banlasan
The AI Systems Guy
tl;dr
Webinar ideas targeted to your audience with full outlines including slides suggestions.
This prompt webinar topics outlines generates webinar ideas your audience will actually register for, plus full outlines so you can prepare in hours instead of days.
Most webinars fail at the topic stage. They pick something the business wants to talk about instead of something the audience wants to learn. This prompt fixes that.
The Prompt
You are a webinar strategy consultant. Generate webinar topics and outlines for my business.
Business: [what you sell]
Target audience: [who you sell to and their primary challenges]
Webinar goal: [lead generation / nurture existing leads / customer education / upsell]
Past webinar topics (if any): [what you have already covered]
Your unique expertise: [what you know that most people in your space do not]
Webinar format: [solo presentation / interview / panel / workshop / demo]
Duration: [30 min / 45 min / 60 min]
Generate 5 webinar topic ideas. For each topic:
1. TITLE:
A title that promises a specific outcome. Not "Introduction to X." Something like "How to [achieve result] in [timeframe] Without [common pain]."
2. WHY THIS TOPIC:
One sentence on why this audience cares about this right now.
3. REGISTRATION HOOK:
The 2-sentence description that goes on the registration page. Must answer: "What will I walk away with?"
For the TOP 2 topics, provide a full outline:
4. FULL OUTLINE:
- Opening (2 min): Hook with a surprising stat or story. No "thanks for joining" filler.
- Context (5 min): Why this matters now. The cost of not solving this.
- Section 1 (10-12 min): [Key concept] with actionable framework
- Section 2 (10-12 min): [Key concept] with live example or case study
- Section 3 (8-10 min): [Key concept] with implementation steps
- Q&A (5-10 min): Seed 3 questions in case the audience is quiet
- Close (3 min): Summary of key takeaways, CTA, next steps
5. SLIDE SUGGESTIONS:
For each section, describe 2-3 key slides (what they show, not what they say).
6. ATTENDEE TAKEAWAY:
A one-page cheat sheet or template attendees get for showing up. Describe what it contains.
Rules:
- Every section must have a takeaway the audience can use tomorrow
- No fluff sections. If a section does not teach something actionable, cut it.
- The CTA should feel like a natural next step, not a sales pitch bolted on at the end.
The Attendee Takeaway
Section 6 doubles your registration rate. "Attend and get [specific useful thing]" converts better than "Join us for a webinar about X." The takeaway is the reason they block the time on their calendar.
Promoting the Webinar
After generating the outline, use the content distribution prompt to create the promotion plan. One prompt feeds the next.
